Analyzing the Effectiveness of Affiliate Marketing in the E-Commerce Sector: An Indian Perspective – June 2025

Abstract:

Affiliate marketing has emerged as a dominant promotional strategy in the digital economy, particularly within the e-commerce sector. This paper explores the effectiveness of affiliate marketing in driving traffic, conversions, and revenue in Indian e-commerce. Using secondary data sourced from industry reports, journal articles, and digital marketing publications, the study investigates how affiliate marketing impacts customer acquisition, brand visibility, and return on investment. The findings indicate that affiliate marketing, when executed strategically, significantly contributes to the growth of e-commerce platforms in India, especially in a price-sensitive and rapidly digitizing market.
